Former Seattle Seahawks, Leroy Hill, was arrested last Saturday for possession of marijuana. Hill, now a free agent, was pulled over by the Atlanta police and they found less than an ounce of marijuana.
Police were called after an complaint about a marijuana odor. Officers say they confirmed the smell, obtained a search warrant and found partially smoked blunts and marijuana residue inside.
Hill is no stranger to being arrested. He was arrested in January 2009 on a marijuana-possession charge in Georgia and was given 12 months of probation. He also was arrested on a domestic violence charge in a Seattle suburb in April 2010. Hill started all 16 games last season, finishing with 89 tackles and four sacks.
UPDATE 3-5-12:
The attorney for free agent linebacker Leroy Hill says charges of marijuana possession in Atlanta have been dropped.
